Welcome to the Seafarers Yacht Club of Annapolis!
The Seafarers Yacht Club is a private yacht club located in Eastport Annapolis, Maryland. The Seafarers have a rich history of cruising the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries for fifty years. Each year we have our annual Flag Raising Ceremony held at the clubhouse to kick off the new boating season. We announce the upcoming activities for the summer including the schedule of the many summer cruises to our favorite marinas on the Chesapeake Bay.
The Seafarers Auxiliary of spouses and significant others are a vital contribution to the club. They have the objective and a history of supporting Seafarers activities. The year is punctuated with Friday night happy hours for members and guests, hand dancing and ballroom dancing classes, pool parties, discos, cook outs, crab feasts, formal dinners and dances, the Mardi Gras and Luau party, and the Summer Youth Program.
The Seafarers Yacht Club Summer Youth Program is one of the many ways the Seafarers give back to the community. This program, at no cost to participants, involves 'at risk' youths from Anne Arundel and Prince George's County, Maryland in a week long program. The objective of the effort is to expose participants to the enjoyment of boating and boating-related career opportunities.
